Giara Biot

Impressive terracotta jar made in Biot, Provence around the middle of the 19th century. Incredible patina of time on the body and the ochre glaze on the neck still clearly visible. Used to transport oil, today they are extraordinary pieces of furniture. France, Provence, 1850
